Mini Shipping Container FAQs

72 hour notice is required on bookings.

We will send you a tracking number when the full mini shipping container gets back to the terminal so you know where it is at all times and well in advance of delivery

Crate will be assembled at time of delivery

Insurance as follows: The additional insurance is $3.00 per $100.00 of VALUE. If you choose not to purchase the additional insurance the freight will be covered at the standard .10 cents per pound.

$75.00 per month on the Cube (inside dimensions 46x49x49). $95.00 per month on the Tower (inside dimensions 46x49x80). The containers are stored in a non-traffic area at the terminal of destination.

We do NOT require a deposit. Full payment is collected upon pick up of the full container or upon delivery of the full container.

Credit Card (Visa & MasterCard) to lock in your drop off and delivery dates.

The only time your price would change is if you added or removed containers from your order, your contents weighed more than the estimate, or if it had to re-consign (deliver to new destination or origin) the order.

We allow 2 days for packing and unpacking of the containers.
Inside the containers you are unable to ship poisonous, flammable, corrosive, or perishable items.
The containers do not have locks on them. However, customers are free to supply their own chain locks.
We do offer a driver wait program on single shipment items. Our drivers are in no way permitted to pack the con- tainers or crates. American Min Movers is a self packaging and crating company and the actual packing is the responsibility of the shipper. They will WAIT if the product is available to pack immediately when he arrives.
If your order is cancelled within 48 hours of the empty crate delivery, you will be charged a $100 fee.
